ESET Security Review
ESET offers a reliable anti-malware engine, useful firewall settings and a password manager that includes form filling capabilities and browser protection and good network security tools. Its parental controls, secure browser and anti-theft tools are good but not outstanding. It does not offer a VPN or microphone protection, however it does provide remote screen capture or camera access for a view of what a thief has been doing on your mobile or laptop.
The app has an intuitive interface that is easy to understand and use for novices but is also full of details and advanced features for those who need it. The company also provides excellent support, which can be accessed through their website or directly from the client via the “support” tab located close to the bottom of the app.
ESET Internet Security’s status bar at the top of the screen displays the protection it is https://genesistechnologysolutionstt.com/benefits-of-artificial-intelligence-technologic-view providing to your computer. It also provides complete statistics about the protection. When something important happens to your computer or must take action, the software displays clear and concise messages on the desktop, near the tray of your system.
The antiphishing tools of the antivirus were overly alert and blocked a range of websites I was confident about but weren’t on PhishTank. The program also scans USB storage devices when they are plugged into our laptop. This was a bit uncomfortable, since many other antiviruses require permission.
